Meet Mr. Jeff, the award-winning children’s musician, educator, and professional silly person! Mr. Jeff wears many hats as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, music teacher, audio engineer, and former Pre-K and preschool teacher. With a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ to his name, he spent four years inspiring young minds in his preschool classroom, where he seamlessly blended music, theatrics, and reading into his lessons.

Mr. Jeff’s YouTube channel, with over 200,000 views, is a favorite for kids and families, offering fun, educational music videos that spark joy and curiosity.

His high-energy, interactive live shows and school assemblies combine gross motor movement, social-emotional learning, original music, and a healthy dose of silliness, leaving kids ready for a nap and grown-ups asking for more! Mr. Jeff’s school assembly programs use live music, movement, humor, and interactive participation to reinforce positive messages around confidence, perseverance, kindness, and creativity. Perfect for schools, libraries, festivals, museums, and family-friendly events, Mr. Jeff’s performances are designed to get kids singing, moving, laughing, and learning while feeling like an important part of the show.

In March 2024, Mr. Jeff released his debut children’s music album, Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful, featuring imaginative and educational songs inspired by his preschool classroom and his own children. Songs such as “Loud in the Library,” “Drivin’ in My Racecar,” and “The Jellyfish Dances Like This” showcase his knack for mixing education with fun, while tracks like “Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!” and “Poppin’ Bubbles” add an extra dose of joy.

Also in 2024, Mr. Jeff released Slumberful Slumberful Slumberful, a dreamy piano album designed to be a passive listening experience, perfect for naptime, bedtime, study time, or relaxation.

In 2025, Mr. Jeff released his third full-length children’s album, Big Kid Stuff, a joyful and heartfelt collection of songs inspired by the ups, downs, and growing pains of childhood. This lively album is a useful and fun way to support kids (and grown-ups) as they navigate bravery, friendship, identity, and big feelings through music, humor, and play.

With themes of perseverance, empathy, family connection, and celebrating who you are, this special album showcases collaborations with children’s music superstars Ronnie Boy Kids, Grammy Award winner Fyütch, Miss Jessica, Tara Trudel, and Grammy nominee Mega Ran, plus vocals from Mr. Jeff’s own three kids. Featuring infectious pop hooks, playful jams, and tender anthems, Big Kid Stuff is a musical experience for the whole family.

In 2026, Mr. Jeff released his fourth original full-length children’s album, I’ve Got Heart, a 12-song collection about growing up with courage, kindness, patience, perseverance, curiosity, and confidence. At its center is the idea that having heart does not mean always getting things right. It means showing up, trying again, caring for yourself and others, and learning how to move through big feelings and everyday challenges.

Musically, I’ve Got Heart is Mr. Jeff’s most expansive album yet, moving through high-energy indie rock and pop, Latin influences, singer-songwriter intimacy, marching band, string quartet, and lullaby-inspired sounds. Despite that wide range, the album is tied together by big melodies, memorable hooks, playful production, and moments designed for kids and grown-ups to sing, move, and experience together.

Songs including “Patience,” “Keep Swimming,” “Show Up, Work Hard,” and “I’ve Got Heart” approach social-emotional growth from a kid’s point of view, turning ideas like waiting, perseverance, effort, self-confidence, and positive self-talk into music kids can connect with. Across the record, meaningful ideas live alongside humor, imagination, movement, and plenty of Mr. Jeff-style silliness.

In 2025, Mr. Jeff contributed background vocals to Fyütch and Aura V’s Grammy-winning album Harmony, earning recognition as part of the team behind the historic record.

Jeff Klemm was also recognized with the "30 for the Future" Award by the Greater Akron Chamber for demonstrating exceptional leadership and making an impact on his hometown community.

Beyond children’s music, Jeff Klemm is a prolific artist with four full-length albums and multiple singles for grown-ups. Over the last decade, he has performed in 41 states with various projects, demonstrating his versatility as a singer, songwriter, and producer.

As a professional development leader, Mr. Jeff presents Wonderful Play! Using Music to Support Early Childhood Development, an interactive Ohio Approved training that helps educators and librarians use music to support learning through play. He presents this workshop in Ohio and beyond.

Mr. Jeff lives in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, with his super-talented and awesome wife Jillian and their three wonderful children. Whether he’s performing for families, creating new music, or working with educators, his mission remains the same: use music, play, positivity, optimism, and a little silliness to inspire and motivate kids to learn, grow, embrace their uniqueness, and feel confident being their authentic selves.
